Department Proper noun ChangeDepartment Name Change(OP) In creating sections in drawing creation, a section name is required (A, B or whatever). My problem is sometimes I create a section incorrectly or later make up one's mind to delete it, then I can non utilize that section name once again (such as Department A), pro/e has assigned that name to something. How tin I delete the section name from the file so information technology can be reused and so I tin have a reasonable drawing with views labeled A through Z? Thanks for your help. RE: Section Name Change
Hello,
May I suggest you create the sections required in the model.
Can you not delete the sections from the model? X-Section --> Delete (chooose proper noun)?
You can rename an 'unused' section to OLD_A, OLD_B etc.

Hope this helps.

RE: Section Proper name Change
(OP)
Forgot to mention I am using Wildfire.
RE: Section Name Modify
(OP)
Thanks onlyadrafter, that's the ticket. Just didn't know where to find that command.
RE: Department Name Modify
We also create sections in the model versus the drawing.
The conflict I have is having the aforementioned proper noun used often. The datum and department can not be A. We name the section datum plane AA and the GD&T datum plane A.
RE: Department Proper noun Change
(OP)
I oasis't ever created sections in model mode. Seems the problem is keeping track of section names, peculiarly (as in my case) when there are many parts in one multi-sheet drawing (vs one role per drawing). Then far I am having good results in creating sections in drawing style. Thank you for the help and communication.
